What's the role?
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, forecasting, and budgeting operating expenses in support of the company's goals and objectives, including providing decision support and advice to management through financial planning, performance monitoring and variance analysis on the Research and Development area. The analyst will partner with the R&D teams to develop the annual budgets and operational forecasts. This resource works independently and relies on business acumen, numerical evidence, and trends to provide conclusions. The Sr. Financial Analyst supports the R&D team with strategic product development and investment decisions. Assist in financial evaluation of business opportunities and prepares analysis to determine past, present, and future financial performance. Analyze financial information and effectively monitor and forecast operating expenses for the company. Analyze financial data, defining relevant information, and interpret the results for the purpose of determining past financial performance and potential risks and future opportunities. Coordinate regular business reviews for the supported functional areas while presenting financial overviews and communicating success areas and areas for improvement. Assist in the preparation of yearly budget and quarterly forecast development. Develop various financial reports for forecasting, trending, budgeting, and results analysis. Focus on project level budgeting, resource and portfolio planning, and rationalizing R&D investments. Own monthly executive management reporting consolidating R&D financial performance metrics.

The annual pay range for this position is $121,900 - $152,400.
The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.
