EHS Representative (SSI) (Finance)
Each subcontractor company shall employ one on-site- full-time professional Safety Manager who should possess: a recognized safety certification, safety, related degree. or an OSHA500 certificate; and have a minimum of five years of experience in construction safety, with three years of management experience.
The subcontractor's Safety Manager shall help coordinate their company's safety programs and ensure that the requirements of this SSEHSP plan are implemented as part of the Subcontractor's project specific EHS plan requirements. The EHS manager is responsible for helping to ensure and verify that high hazard work is assessed, planned and set up safely (e.g., crane pick, fall protection, De-Install, line break, tie-in and LOTO, and similar high hazard type work). At a minimum, the EHS Manager shall review the controls for hazardous work, perform audits, and confirm OSHA and safe work compliance. EHS managers shall not preform dual roles as EHS and construction/ production functions.
