Sr. Global D&A Process Consultant (Taxonomies & Ontologies) (Finance)

This role in the Global Data Office will report to the Head of Enterprise Data Architecture. The Sr. Global D&A Process Consultant (Taxonomies & Ontologies) will define and develop ontologies and taxonomies, contributing to EFX existing architectures. The Sr. Global D&A Process Consultant (Taxonomies & Ontologies) will document business capabilities and business processes for the Global Data Organization, working closely with other functions and Business units in a matrixed environment.

Equifax has a hybrid work schedule that allows for 2 days of remote work (Monday and Friday), with 3 required onsite days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) every week.

This role will work the required onsite days at our Equifax office in Alpharetta, Georgia.

What you will do

• Serve as point of contact for all covered domain solution sales activities within covered accounts, including configurable and semi-custom solutions.
• Document and define Taxonomies and Ontologies, contributing to our existing architectures.
• Document business capabilities and business processes.
• Present and validate use cases, demos and customer scenarios for which covered domain solutions are uniquely suited and demonstrate customer value.
• Develop moderately complex domain solution proposals and support stakeholders with problem solving and educational materials during negotiations.
• Demonstrates solid knowledge of domain solutions, capabilities, and customer issues they address and the value they offer.
• Continuously develop knowledge of the competition and help develop competitive strategies and positioning.
• Support customer success managers on expansion and renewal as needed.

What experience you will need

• BS degree in a STEM major or equivalent discipline; Master's Degree strongly preferred.
• 5-7 years of business process documentation, digital transformation, analytical or consulting experience or a related role.
• Experience creating Business Capability Diagrams (BCDs).
• Experience working closely with business and analytics teams to understand their needs (e.g., design thinking sessions, business requirements, agile methods, etc.), maintain ongoing engagement through development, rollout, and improvement cycles.
• Demonstrated experience using influence to tell stories with data and utilizing data visualization tools like Tableau.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Comfort running meetings and presenting to senior leadership.

What could set you apart

• Technical Advising / Consulting - Experience modeling entities, relationships, attributes, and abstract data building blocks for a given business case, considering both specific database / physical design as well as the logical and conceptual design required for business use.
• Understanding of Semantic Web Technologies, Taxonomies, Ontologies, and Graph Databases.
• Basic familiarity with advanced topics such as Machine Learning, R, Python, Spark, GCP & BigQuery, Cloud Fundamentals, GitHub, and common SDLC processes.
• Cloud certification is strongly preferred.
