About the Role
Essity Health and Medical Solutions is looking for a Laboratory Engineer at our Regional Headquarters in Philadelphia, PA.
The laboratory engineer is, within assigned projects/activities, responsible for the evaluation(planning, testing, analysis, conclusions and recommendation of results) of new and existing products and/or materials to meet consumer and business needs.

What You Will Do
Evaluate and give clear recommendations for new or existing product, pack and/or material performance as laboratory expert in innovation projects or other activities, such as value engineering and quality improvements;
Translate product properties to measurable parameters and select methods and procedures in the most efficient way;
Develop, verify and validate new laboratory methods to meet consumer and business needs;
Maintain good knowledge about internal and external methods in own area;
Participate in enabling projects and manage or participate in method development projects;
Participate in change requested by business units such as value engineering and quality improvements;
Evaluate competitor products within own area;
Work according to procedures and instructions for health and safety, laboratory process and other relevant areas.
Who You Are
BSc/MSc in relevant field or several years of experience;
Strong knowledge or statistics and data analysis;
Project management skills.

Competitive annual salary + annual incentive bonus + benefits.
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors such as knowledge, skills, and experience.
