About the Role
We are looking for a creative and dynamic Graphic Designer who also has experience in sales and managing customer interactions. This role plays an essential part in supporting the operation of our Sign Pro and Auto Trim Design business. You will leverage your design expertise to create captivating content while also managing customer inquiries, streamlining sales processes, and nurturing customer relationships from the initial contact through to order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is someone with strong design capabilities and a solid foundation in sales and customer service.
Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Interaction
Handle inbound and outbound sales, including walk-ins, phone inquiries, and visiting local businesses.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, generating leads through networking, cold outreach, and client referrals.
Present design solutions to potential clients, effectively communicating the value of our services.
Maintain consistent communication with customers for follow-up calls, status updates, and pick-up arrangements.
Design Support
Assist with graphic design tasks for customer proofs, including the use of design software to create visually appealing concepts.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop design concepts that align with customers' desired outcomes.
Manage multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
Stay updated on industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies.
Order Management & Customer Follow-up
Manage order entry, ensuring all customer information, products, and specifications are accurate.
Follow through on leads, ensuring the transition from sales to order fulfillment is seamless.
Coordinate production and installations based on customer timelines.
Production & Materials Management
Procure materials required for production and installations.
Execute additional tasks as needed to support the business operations.
Experience
Minimum Associates Degree or 5+ years' experience in sales and/or design work
Proven experience in sales, with an ability to convert inquiries into successful transactions.
Experience with graphic design software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, HP Flexi, Gerber Omega, or similar is a plus.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
