Flat Bed Operator (Manufacturing)

Job Summary:
Responsible for printing images on materials for flag manufacturing using print screens and dyes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Obtain prepared rolls of cloth from finishing frame or cloth inventory and sew on to entry end of machine.Based on print schedule obtain proper set of screens and correct dye for scheduled pattern.Set-up pattern based on supplied set-up card for pattern. Put screens in proper rotation, correct rod size, magnet pressure, machine tension, and number of strokes, length advancement, and oven temperature. Monitor entry, print blanket with cloth, and exit end of machine for any defects that machine may be causing and correct immediately.Monitor oven temperature and machine mechanics along with operation computer monitor to be sure all proper settings are maintained.Ability to remove and clean screens and rods. Ability to alert dye mixers to come and remove remaining dye left.Must keep all parts of the print machine oiled and greased as instructed on posted maintenance procedures on each machine.Ability to complete paperwork of downtime codes and running times for each pattern.Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
