Product Manager (Finance)

Job Summary:

As key member of the Issuing & Acquiring segment team you will clearly communicate and drive product strategy, direction, and vision; maintain the roadmap and strategy for your assigned products in alignment with the overall ACI strategy. While your assigned products may change over time, your initial assignment will be to support two highly strategic initiatives to both modernize and expand our Issuing & Acquiring solutions.

As a product champion, you will continually drive product adoption among the customer base and target market, understanding pain points and problems and addressing them in a timely fashion, with a constant eye on maximizing the ROI for the product. You will partner with marketing and channels to develop and execute the GTM strategy and articulate the value proposition of the product among customers and prospects alike. You will maintain an intimate understanding of the payments industry and the competition to quickly identify opportunities and threats, leverage our strengths and overcome our weaknesses while influencing the overall ACI product strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

• Elicits and validates stakeholder requirements. Conducts research and data gathering to analyze and determine appropriate solutions for stakeholder's pervasive market problems. Manages market requirements process, including documentation preparation and presentation.
• Functions as a product and target market SME (subject matter expert)
• Drives the positioning and interaction of the product within the product portfolio and its integration with other products and sponsors innovation that helps achieve the strategic plan.
• Clearly articulates the value proposition and positioning of the product. Accountable for ensuring the go-to-market plan is delivered with excellence.
• Actively manages the product across the entire lifecycle and manages pricing and packaging as a profit and market penetration lever. Monitors key performance indicators of the operations to design, deliver, implement and support the product.
• Establishes financial goals of the product. Develops business cases as input to the stage gate process. Monitors, tracks financial performance of the product, forecasts performance and executes proactive measures to attain financial goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the job:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2-5 years related experience in an industry related role such as product management, product development type roles with exposure to marketing
• Critical thinking
• Stakeholder management experience

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed for the job:

• Knowledge of card payments systems (issuing and/or acquiring)
• Working knowledge of global card payments

Work Environment:

• Standard work environment
• Majority of time spent on PC (Phys. Req.)
• Travel required
