Research Technical Program Leader (Manufacturing)

As the Research Technical Program Lead on the Huggies Diapers team within Baby Care, your focus will be on leading a strategic program that touches several projects and product variants. This role is critical for setting a path and coordinating across projects to develop and commercialize innovation programs for the Huggies brand to drive growth.
In this role, you will:
Lead a cross functional project team and coordinate with several project leaders to develop and commercialize product solutions to deliver unmet customer needs in the key segment areas as a cohesive program.
Work with the Project Team to effectively plan and complete learning plans, manage project timeline and budget, and drive adherence to key dates/deliverables to ensure project is on-track and in support of strategic business plan goals
Lead and ensure product development meets consumer needs and helps ensure line of sight to process capability and visibility to capital and product supply constraints
Determine and succinctly communicate status of projects via e-mail, project updates, and management reviews
Drive key business decisions relative to the program and related project launches, success criteria, approach, etc. · Lead, coach, and mentor team members to increase technical understanding and ability to execute programs to improve Huggies Diapers business results.
Maintain technical and scientific expertise for Program Leader accountability. Be able to communicate impact of technical developments for Kimberly Clark.
Provide leadership by example in corporate safety, quality, regulatory, product safety and sustainability
Ensure that all elements of the corporate Human Resources Development policy are fully supported

Demonstrated leadership skills providing work direction to a multi-functional team including internal and external resources.
Critical to this position is the ability to influence people at all organizational levels, drive decision-making and execute complex projects on demanding timelines.
Ability to clearly and succinctly communicate ideas and opportunities to leadership.
Bachelor's Degree in a science or engineering discipline
10 years or more industrial experience or another equivalent combination or education and experience
Travel at least 20% of the work time to various locations including manufacturing sites. Ability to effectively communicate to individuals and groups. Ability to work under normal office conditions.
Preferred (not essential, but desired): ·
Prior experience with Personal Care brands and/or technology
Proven ability to collaborate across functions/departments to drive balanced business decisions · Experience working closely with the brand team members to ensure projects align with both short and long term brand strategies
Experience with key process and tools including IMF, LEAN, Problem Solving · Ability/willingness to make (or drive to) tough, informed decisions · Product attributes/quality and testing
Research & Engineering systems
Trial planning and implementation
Business unit communications / partnering
Corporation policies and procedures, Quality, Laws and government regulations, Engineering economics

Salary Range: $127,500 - $157,500 USD
