WPTV, a NBC affiliate in West Palm Beach, is seeking an Account Executive. As an Account Executive, you'll be the ultimate growth engine for local businesses! Your mission? To help them tap into a world of opportunities with powerful, multi-platform advertising solutions. From Over The Top (OTT) video to SEO/SEM, social media, digital displays, e-mail targeting, and even broadcast TV, you'll be offering a full toolbox of marketing magic that drives measurable success.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Unleash Advertising Success: You'll be selling game-changing advertising solutions to local and regional businesses, as well as advertising agencies—bringing their brand to the next level.
Custom Solutions for Maximum Impact: Using the Scripps Sales Process (SSP), you'll dive deep into customer needs, craft tailored advertising strategies, and deliver impressive ROI.
More Than TV Ads: Yes, you'll sell television commercial airtime, but you'll also unlock the power of digital marketing by offering innovative strategies to maximize exposure across various platforms.
Go-Getter Sales Rockstar: As a self-starter, you'll independently hunt down new opportunities, secure appointments, assess client needs, and close deals that grow the business from traditional and non-traditional advertisers.
Negotiate Like a Pro: Using data, trends, and your killer negotiation skills, you'll maximize revenue and deliver customized, winning solutions for your clients.
Trusted Advisor & Client Relationship Guru: You'll build deep relationships with clients, providing top-tier service and turning those connections into long-lasting partnerships. Plus, you'll score additional business from referrals!
Client Services Champion: From media avail negotiations to campaign execution, presentation prep, copywriting, credit applications, and revenue collection, you'll be the go-to point of contact for your clients' needs.
Manage Your Sales Funnel Like a Boss: Proactively keep your finger on the pulse with CRM systems, track key metrics, and hit your sales goals with precision.
Creative Collaborator: Contribute your ideas to campaigns by working directly with clients—helping craft stories, visuals, and even assist in production.
Build Relationships & Have Fun: Keep your client connections strong (maybe even over a fun lunch or happy hour!) to make sure they keep coming back for more
Administrative Pro: Stay on top of all the little details—keep CRM updated, resolve any media issues, track account info, and communicate with leadership to stay on track with all your accounts.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
A BS/BA in a related field is preferred (but if you have the experience, that works too!).
2+ years of sales success will make you a rockstar in this role.
