This position is Grant Funded.
The Ma Lab at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to work on an exciting project to elucidate how the immune system coordinates cardiac wound healing response following myocardial infarction. We are looking for highly motivated and creative individuals with interest in cardio-immunology research. The position is for three to four years with the possibility of renewal based on performance. At the end of the postdoctoral training, the candidate may be encouraged to develop their own research to become independent or continue as a Research Associate based on performance
and funding availability.
Requirements:
PhD or MD and a strong background in Immunology, Cardiovascular Sciences, or a related field. Preferred qualifications: experience with flow cytometry, mouse models (e.g. MI, I/R, or TAC), and echocardiography; prior publication in internationally peer-reviewed journals.
