POSITION SUMMARY:
The department of neurosurgery is seeking a neuropsychology candidate to join our growing team. This position will:
-Provide outpatient neuropsychological care following standard guidelines.
-Works in the capacity of a licensed provider in a competent, capable, professional manner which exemplifies the current standard of care in neuropsychology.
-Assists patients and their families during their entry and passage through the services in the USF Neuropsychology Division Clinics.
- Assesses neurobehavioral care using the appropriate neuropsychological assessments following current standards of practice.
-Develops a treatment plan and communicates with family and the patientMINIMUM:
The successful candidate will be a graduate from an approved school and training program in psychology, and completed postdoctoral training in neuropsychology. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor.
PREFERRED:
The incumbent knows and utilizes continuous quality improvement methodologies and practices evidence-based neuropsychology

Grow Here .The incumbent will participate in the undergraduate medical education program including the Behavioral Medicine Course, the Neuropsychology Residency and subspecialty lectures as needed. The incumbent will teach residents in Neuropsychology. The candidate will be able to teach the fundamentals of neuropsychological evaluation in the adult and geriatric populations. The incumbent will serve as an enrichment supervisor for neuropsychology residents as well as medical students interested in neuropsychology.
The incumbent will participate and collaborate with research projects in the Department of Neurosurgery and the USF Concussion Center as well as potentially other Centers in USF Health (e.g., Byrd Alzheimer's Disease Research Center and Movement Disorders, ALS, Multiple Sclerosis, etc.) that require the services of a neuropsychologist.
