What does it mean to be a Sr Manager, Accounting?
The Senior Manager, General Ledger (GL) Accounting, will oversee the daily operations of the accounting team and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financials in accordance with US GAAP. This role involves managing the month-end close process, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You possess an in-depth understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and have extensive experience managing complex accounting issues. You are highly skilled in leadership, communication, and strategic planning, and have built strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Your ability to forecast business and understand financial reporting is exceptional. You are a subject matter expert both internally and externally and serve as an escalation point for complex accounting issues. You are known for taking on tasks outside of your immediate responsibilities, including assisting in training efforts and leading special projects. You are proficient in using financial software and other accounting tools to drive results and support the organization's financial objectives. You drive leadership engagement to produce a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the team and organization achieve its objectives. Also, you need to develop an effective team by building strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills, knowledge, and perspectives to achieve common goals. You must be able to provide critical thinking and the ability to solve problems related to accounting and how it will affect other segments of Ingram's business. Your critical thinking is used to drive change, make smart/calculated decisions, and reduce the risk for the organization.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $105,500.00 - $179,400.00 per year.
The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
