Assistant Superintendent
Do you thrive on managing on-site construction activities and ensuring everything runs smoothly? Are you passionate about delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards? As an Assistant Superintendent, you'll work closely with the Superintendent and other team members to oversee daily operations, solve challenges, and help drive the success of each project.
What You'll Do:
Assist the Superintendent in coordinating and supervising all on-site construction activities.
Monitor project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining quality standards.
Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project requirements.
Communicate effectively with the project team, providing updates and addressing concerns promptly.
Help resolve any on-site issues, proactively addressing challenges to minimize delays.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs and progress reports.
Foster a positive and productive work environment on-site, encouraging teamwork and collaboration.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
Bachelor's degree in construction management or a similar field, or five years of direct experience.
You have proven experience in managing a direct hire workforce and subcontractors.
You have experience in construction supervision or management, with knowledge of construction processes and safety protocols.
You're organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
You're an effective communicator who excels in building strong relationships with team members, subcontractors, and vendors.
You're proactive and solution-focused, ready to tackle challenges head-on.
You're familiar with construction scheduling software and tools.
You're committed to upholding high-quality standards and ensuring a safe work environment.
