This role lies between MH Clinicians and the Assistant Regional Director of Clinical Programs in clinics of a large size.
How will I contribute
Provide direct oversight of clinic and ensure the programs runs smoothly and is following Tulare County contracts Supervise employees including clinicians, case managers, peer supports and administrative support staff. This includes annual evaluations. Assure all staff meet and maintain their productivity standards and other relevant performance expectations including attendance, timesheets and is following internal policies and procedures. Monitor Avatar and monitor staff compliance with documentation requirements and ensure that staff maintains adequate skill levels in the use of the electronic record keeping system Ensure that outcomes measures are developed, implemented, reported and analyzed See to a positive and effective working relationship with partner agencies and ensuring that KV business interests are monitored and maintained, which will require familiarity with contracts, policies and procedures, attending meetings Assess ongoing program strengths and weaknesses then provide appropriate development and monitoring of program procedures. Provides direct supervision of program staff. Assuring that program is following policies and procedures. Provides program development. Provides direct mental health service to consumers. Enter all service information in the Tulare County HHSA Management Information System (AVATAR) by completing Electronic Service Activity Logs (ESALs) at the end of every shift, if holding a caseload. Reports to Assistant Regional Clinical Director Perform other duties as assigned.
What I bring
Master Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Sciences, or related. Maintain licensure as a LMFT, LCSW or LPCC Class C Driving License Two years post licensure experience in a mental health setting and three years of supervising/directing the activities of other clinical staff in a mental health setting, or two years of post-licensure experience plus two years of experience in staff supervision, administration, and personnel management in any related human service endeavor. SMART CARE electronic health information, outcomes measures, guide staff to their potential to keep at the level of 70% productivity and progress note timeliness. Follow all KV policies and procedures, administrative directives, all relevant county, state and federal regulations and any performance obligations contained in KV program contracts. Routine monitoring of SMART CARE, staff compliance with documentation requirements and that staff has adequate skills in the use of EHR system. Ability to ensure a positive and effective working relationship with partner agencies and that Kings Views business interests are monitored and maintained. Assess ongoing program strengths and weaknesses then provide appropriate development and monitoring of program procedures. Positive leadership and clinical expertise in diagnosing, planning and treatment of MH disorders.
